Wow. Definitely sounds like pre-e. I had it with my last daughter, born last March and was on bedrest from 32w and she came at 37, luckily. It's stressful. I hope you can manage it, I wasn't able to very well and just sat with numbers similar to what you had this weekend.

I was checked for it just last night at the hospital b/c my bp was high and my history. I had just gone in for a routine NST and it all went crazy...contractions, cervical checks, DILATION, UTI's, shots....crazy stuff. LOL. I'll be so happy when this is over.

Let us know if the nettles work.

She said i had some of the symptoms, but since there wasn't even a trace of protein in my urine, and I haven't had any headaches or dizziness, she feels comfortable trying the nettles and bedrest first. I've got my fingers crossed that it works; the last thing I want is to be forced by nature to induce early or something that could lead to an unpleasant birth experience.

I hope all the craziness settles down for you too. I'll definitely keep everyone posted; bedrest=me on the computer a LOT. LOL.

Aaaaahhhh...I started to ask about protein but I guess I didn't get to it. I don't remember reading that it was checked and assumed it wasn't, for some reason. That's awesome, then. I had to do a 24 hour pee catch on Easter Sunday at my family get-together, mind you...I hid the big orange jug in my dad's garage fridge but the men still had to deal with it to get beer. LOL) and it was fine then they checked it again last night b/c my BP but no protein.

I live in Springfield, Missouri! I think we've discussed that we're both from Missouri before, but I have pregnancy brain so yaknow. I really can't remember.

Anyway, I've had hella swelling for the past few weeks. My doctor tells me that everything is fine and that I just need to put my feet up more, but still. They swell and swell.

Maybe it's a Missouri thing. The humidity and all. I don't know. I just wanted to let you know that I can sympathize with you. :( We're almost to the end! I realized today that as of this Saturday, I will be "full-term" CRAZY!!!

Yeah, we spent a few days with my in-laws who live out in the boonies, east of Ozark. The Walmart in Ozark is the main attraction around there. LOL. You know you live in the middle of nowhere when driving 30 minutes to Walmart is a family affair. ;)

I have terribly swollen feet too, but no high BP and no protein in my urine. Shoes have not fit well for about a month. Fun!

Yeah, I just ran up to the bank real quick, and wore slippers. It's way too warm for them, but unless I went barefoot, I didn't have much choice. Blah.
