bureaucracy in action!
ok. so during the course of my move in december, i lost my social security card. don't know where it went. in the meantime, my old id expired. now i am stuck in bureaucratic limbo...dmv says, "we can't give you a new id without a social security card"...social security says, "we can't give you a social security card without a valid id". so, uh, ( Read more... ) -

yeah, hi. stuff has been all like, y'know. i'm constantly broke, and it's cold outside, and i really need to go to the grocery store and so laundry. but who cares, i'm back in school. as of may 18, i am northeastern illinois university's newest geography major. whoopie ti yo. ok. so now i need to get make some coffee. -

somehow, every year, i manage to see the bayou classic halftime show. today, i came hom from shopping for polish groceries, turned on the tv just as it was starting. i didn't even realize it would be on. it was clearly meant to be.
