tight, sharp pains.. when they say it "takes your breath away" i think they must mean if you're doing something, you stop and gasp. Talking, walking, eating, sneezing even. At least that's the feeling I got from it!! I was also having sharp pains near my cervix.. perhaps softening? opening?

Really? Jealous?
Oh, believe me you guys will be the first to know lol. As soon as the contractions were consistently moving through me for about 10 minutes I posted, perhaps too soon because they stopped 2 hours later or so, but still.. you WILL be the first to know =P

I slept A.OK last night so obviously if I was contracting it wasn't enough to keep me awake. Gosh how I hope I am like 3cm dialated before I feel a thing.

I haven't lost my mucus plug though so I am probably reading too far into this!

Well, I'm kind of eager in some ways to go into labour at this point!

I had some contractions every 10 minutes last Friday, but they didn't get me anywhere at all. So annoying!

Will we for sure lose our mucus plug before we get real contractions?

"Will we for sure lose our mucus plug before we get real contractions?"

I googled this. Apparently not all women see it. Then again you + I likely check the TP after wiping EVERY time. I do anyway, no change in anything, discharge or any red tinge or anything.

I think we'll at least see some sort of bloody show or something.

I had contractions with no real or pattern to them, just tons of crampy and pain pain for hours.

Hope this is it!

The pain subsided after about 1.5 hours, and then the contractions stopped. False alarm!
