Rolling:

I believe it was Thursday that Dorian rolled over for the first (second, actually, since he rolled back to belly at 16 days!) time on his own! We still co-sleep *dreamy sigh* and the way we do it is he sleeps on his side (easy boobie access) and I sleep on mine, so we’re facing each other. Well when I woke in the AM he was ALMOST on his ( Read more... )

One morning I had a heart attack because I was BARELY awake, and I mean like 75% asleep and I looked over and saw this blue thing stuck between the mattress and bed (an impossible space for Dorian to fit, it was a blanket rolled up tight so there was no space between his mattress and ours) and thought it was him!! I put my arm out so fast to scoop "him" up but knocked him in the forehead instead as he was sleeping literally in the crook between my armpit and my side!! haha poor baby!!

They make cushioned co-sleeper mats and stuff that you can place your baby in next to you to keep them from rolling around. I'm trying to remember what exactly they're called. I just remember having one when my son was itty bitty.

My family is the other way around when it comes to co-sleeping ...franky loves it but I dont! lol I dont like her to be in our bed because Im always scared were gonna roll on top of her especially Franky. Well instead we have her bed RIGHT next to ours so it's kinda like an attatchment to ours and we love that. At times Franky says he misses her in our bed but Im happy with how we do it now.

My daughter loves her exersauser too she stands in it all the time and always looks so proud of herself when shes standing ...I've been thinking the same thing yesterday that I may have to up the level on the exersauser .....our babies are growing up fast :)

Yeah, our crib is crammed between the wall and our mattress, I have a blanket rolled tight between them so there is zero gap, but he rarely sleeps on the crib bit haha. I try but I don't fit on it to breastfeed so.. haha easy way out!!

I know we have uber babies!!

I kept with the co sleeping as long as possible. I think she was 5 months when I had to stop! she wasnt getting enough sleep and neither was I. I also worried every morning that "it" had happened! never did and never will but...its a horrible thought!!!

Make sure to do the treatment to clean the CDs of the thrush.

I co-slept till my son was one, and even after he moved into his own bed, he often still ended up in mine. It was a wonderful experience; I can't wait to do it again.

I used bumGenius for my first and loved them. They were my favorite dipe, but I got sick of the plain colors (although I know they're making some patterns now). I bought thin cloth covers and some light knit covers to put over them sometimes just to spruce them up.
