So the last few nights that Dori’s gone down he’s been finicky. I mean he’ll be asleep and as soon as I get out of the room he wakes & cries. He was gassy as HELL last night but he had a monsterous poop this evening, and I mean MONSTEROUS so it shouldn’t be the same way tonight. Mind you I did just have to walk into the bedroom once after shutting ( Read more... )

Sleep regression for us was Kiana going from sleeping from bed time til 5-6 hours later non-stop to waking up every hour or two.

I've also discovered a trick to sleeping in: sleeping with her in the lazy boy. She just sleeps longer stretches that way and around 5-6 am, I always end up there so I can sleep until Kiana gets her 10 hours.

their sleep cycle is 20 minutes into deep sleep...and out of it by minute 45.
Alice naps for 30 minutes during the day, twice. in the evening at 7 she used to nap for 30 minutes, be up again. feed and then down for the night.
Now the 7pm nap is now BIG SLEEP until 4am!

When Alice wakes at 3 we feed and change and back to cot! we soothe her back in the cot! she can come in from 4:30 onwards but before then its back to cot!

When Alice does her crying at night time. I dont get her up, I just soothe her there and stay with her! can take 15 minutes! but since all that she doesnt fuss anymore!
its kinda like sleep training! help him to be OK after deep sleep to stay asleep!
he will get there though darling xxxx

Finns 4 month sleep regression was tiny catnaps in the daytime & then nursing ALL night long.

What time does he go to bed for the night? I know most ppl say "early to bed, late to rise" but this just isn't the case for Finn.

He's in bed by 7, asleep by 730 most times. We start bed time routine at 6 with a bath and then snuggled and quiet play with daddy (since he leaves at 5:30am!) until he's way sleeepy

Yes, he does 40m naps in the day, 3 or 4 of them, and then down at 7, up at 8, down again, up at 930 or 10.. oh it's redundant
