Sometimes I wish I were better at everything.

Better at realizing when to stop.

Better at forgiving myself when I made a mistake.

Better at so many of the stupid, little things that seem effortless to other people.

But then I wish I had a higher aptitude or more talent or patience or foresight to avoid making mistakes in the first place.

Tomorrow, it will be two weeks since we moved home. I am still unemployed. There are potential jobs floating about and I've applied for scads just this weekend. Oh, how I worry ( Read more... )
