Thank you for the kind words. It was so much fun and it provided needed experience in standing around and discussing my work. It's a beautifully awkward but exciting experience.

"It's a beautifully awkward but exciting experience."

For so many reasons, this sentence reminds me of virgins being introduced to sex.

And you're welcome. I say them because they're true. I can't wait to be home again. And being there with you only cements that feeling.

Hmm. I did find that afterward, I didn't know what to say and wondered if I should leave immediately or stick around for a bit. I also felt as if I could use a shower.

You might be on to something here.

And yes, being home together is going to be wonderful. There is so much that we both want to do there.

Hey honey bunches!
I love this "the everydayness of which made me feel so close to both Chelsea and Boston that I practically wept" and am ecstatic at the thought of many more of these to come. Finally you and I have the opportunity to have an "everyday" kind of friendship!

So, funny thing. You know my friend Angie who works at Good Vibrations? Well I may or may not have told you that this is one of two of her jobs - she also works at some writing center.
I just found out yesterday that said writing center is actually 826.
Thought you would get a kick out of the smallness of this world. :)

Love,
Chelsea

I, too, am excited about the prospect of having you within reach. We'll get to make impromptu plans!

And it's awesome that Angie works at 826! Is she a volunteer or does she actually work there? And if it's the latter, can she get me a job? ;)
