NO BATH OR SHOWER FOR 48 HOURS, so the stitches and dressing stay dry.

Well - at least it isn't the middle of summer, right?

I'd completely forgotten about this :( Glad that everything seems to have gone okay. *hugs*

thanks! (don't tell the doctor - I'm going to cheat and use my hand-held shower attachment to wash my bottom half at least. I'll cover up the top half in the tub.))

eeps. c-section does sound worse - bigger incision. could you take a shower?

thanks! Here's hoping your kitty doesn't need surgery. At least as a human, I understand the doctor's explanations. I don't think cats understand why they get poked, prodded, and cut.

I did not want to do this without anesthetic, but the doctor assured me that 'this is the way we do it now.' I was no brave Gryffindor -- I was in full weenie mode. thanks for praying! I hope to hear by Friday.
