i was watching the vtr as i read your translation.. jun was very serious in this interview. you can see that this play had a very strong impact on him. the pressures of working and learning under ninagawa is making an impression on his thinking and maturity process as well.

i would love to see his plays one day too. "junbaby, you can give youself a pat on the back" you did not run away from a challenge.

yeap, he was.
i like how jun is always so straight foward and expresses his feelings in a serious way and not conveying something by making it a joke.
I was very happy how he confessed that he was very very nervous and anxious about the play.
He's not a robot, of course i guessed that he will be nervous, but it's good to know from his own words.
I guess the fact that he could talk about his weakness out loud shows he is becoming more "otona"

yes, i like how he was so ernest in his answers. the way he admitted his weakness is good and i especially liked the fact he is talking about his fears and nervousness. normally he won't talk much. and now he is thinking before he speaks. in comparison to arashi's early days from the weird comments this is a good stepup for him. he really is becoming more "otona" i agree with you.

you can tell easily that he was picking his words....
touching his lips....touching his neck.....touching his chin......playing with his hands.....

so obvious that he was using his minds else where lol

Someone should tell him that it's rude to dig your nose while talking about your butai. In fact, it's rude to dig your nose in public PERIOD. Tsk tsk! He seems so into his talk that his fingers move on their own accord.

forgive his rude-ness......he was just trying to pick the bestest words to describe his feelings (lol)

we should ask fy to run over and give him a long talk about how to behave in front of ppl.....(lol)

he is just very nervious that i thought he didnt notice what his hand is doing.... thanks junko for the translation or else am watching his vtr clip with a "?" of what he is talking about.

i was still like "?" when i saw it for the first time.

nino and jun's words are so hard to translate because they are such smartasses.....lol

At last, I watched the clip tonight. MatsuJun really like his red spec^^ I am glad that he regained his weight. He really looked as though he was dying during the stage play.

and i think everyone in the audience can tell that he was a nervous too... poor thing... he was sweating ridiculously too much... T_T

actually he was doing a great job! just that he pressurizes himself / worries too much!
in a way, i guess i can understand his pressure... but well, i hope this experience will make him a more matured actor^^
