Am I ever happy I am not at my parent's place right now... since yesterday it's been wind chills below -35C and it looks like it won't get much better* for at least another 5 days.

* where much better is defined as above -10C.

Ottawa's much in the same boat, except the public transit union has been on strike since December 10th. Fortunately, it's only a 45 minute walk to school (and I've got the right gear to not be frostbitten by the time I get there)
