So, I had the interview on Friday/Saturday at that liminal hour of confusion.  It seems to have lent a degree of the same to my interview; I was denied the position because the interviewer felt that, giving the kind of lengthy, worthwhile answers I gave to important questions, I was liable to confuse little children who don't speak English ( Read more... )

• Started two hours late!
  • I emailed G2K representative at 10:20, and then at 11:20.
  • I pass out at 12:00a.m.
  • I get THE CALL at like 12:03a.m. - just enough time having passed that I croak out a greeting and give away to the interviewer that fact that "oops, I fell asleep while waiting for two hours for you to call".

It is the different people around us who can give us that momentary "whoa" that I make when I think of something in a new way.
