Dancing Until Dawn

There is never a dull moment with Rufus. Every day new worlds are opened for me; I enjoy the idea very much. With both of us coming from severely different cultures and backgrounds, there is the chance to have a good amount of disconnect. However, we do not see things that way and use it as a positive rather than a negative. Both of us are ( Read more... )

You summed up the evening perfectly, darling. Except the part about my appearance in the studio. I always take care to look polished even when crafting a record. *coughs*

If you post those pictures, I will have punish you.... ;)It means the world to me that you would accompany me out to these functions. I go to them a) because they're fun b) on another level, it's part of my job. Until the hallowed time where I become a superstar like Elton John or Madonna... I have to be seen ( ... )

You know, I almost posted a link to the picture, yet I need to pay up my online picture hosting account and can not seem to find my credit card. You would not know anything about that, would you? I am only joking, love.

All the more reason to post them, in that case.Your approach is much different than mine or my band's for that matter. I suppose we do not think about such things, plus I have always not handled being forefront in the public eye very well ( ... )

*innocent look* Credit card? I have no idea, darling. Last I saw it, it was walking out the door with my cards on a trip to Bloomingdale's ;)

Well, it's just me, myself and I, so I have to be in the forefront... however, I'm a camera-hog, so it's never been a problem for me ;)

You did wonderfully at the party. And you're so patient with me when I'm getting ready to go out... I know I can be a nightmare when it comes to that.

Awwww, but they think it's charming when you use broken English. I wish I could get away with that in France. I always get dirty looks because I speak with a Quebecois accent instead of a Parisian one. I can't help it... it's totally ingrained.

I was raised by hippies... war is not a word in my vocabulary.

How rude to go to Bloomingdale's without me! Next time you go, you could at least pick me up some new underwear or something of the like. I want silk ones with little happy faces on them. Actually, I have been wearing the same clothes over and over again, not to mention several of yours. I should probably pick up a few things.

I like you being a camera hog, more pictures of you for me to gawk at when we cannot be together.

The experience is enjoyable for me, you are so adorable when you are frantic and/or moping. One of these days we should pick clothing for the other to wear before we go out. Not a fancy gathering so you do not have to fear of looking foolish, but perhaps just a stroll in the park.

Is my English that bad? Now I am quite embarrassed! We should make a night out of you speaking French to me as I speak Finnish to you and we can determine if we can still understand one another. There is a lot to be said for body language.

What exactly was going on at the time?

It was a case of consuming too much alcohol after a show. It is one of those little liquor bottles in my mouth with the cap on my nose.

That was probably the most I've ever read on anyone's LJ.

I hope that is a good thing, that perhaps it was interesting enough to captivate you to actually want to read it all.

Although, Teddy by far has the longest posts that I am aware of!

Thank you for dropping by.

I remember reading a few entries of his, but none of them I read were as long as that you wrote up there. And yes, I did enjoy reading it.

Really? I have always thought to consider his quite long. This one was longer than I usually write, yet I suppose I had a lot to say. Although when I write a really long entry it ends up being a post for Fuckery.

I am glad you liked it, thank you.

Hello, Jesse. I saw that you had commented in Rufus' journal and any friend of his is a friend of mine. When will you be returning? Getting together sounds wonderful, yet I am probably only going to be in America for a little over a week so that my band does not disown me.
