That was a serious adventure you put us through there. Holy cow. I just love your attention to detail! I learned so much about Japanese folklore and mythology, so thank you for the lesson in Nihon no bunka as well as the beautiful USUK.

I'm glad that you didn't make it a tragedy. That's what I really like about reading your stuff. I know that you will always write them with a happy end, meaning that if I ever do need warm fluffy USUK, I know where to look. And in response to what you said to my other comment, I think that love without complications isn't necessarily boring. On the contrary, it can be quite interesting, as it digs deeper into what an ideal love situation would be like. It always makes me feel so warm and happy, and I think that it can fill us with a nice hopeful feeling that such a love is possible in our own lives too, you know? Just a thought.

Beautiful work as always! :3

Folklore is ALWAYS fun and I didn't get in half as much as I would have liked. (I really wanted to bring a shoe spirit into the picture at some point...) But I'm glad that was interesting for you. For my research this time I just stuck to Wikipedia and a few quick google searches, so I'm sure I didn't get all the most interesting details into it - but these seemed to be the basics that all the websites were telling me ( ... )

This is my first time to read a kagema!Alfred. I always wait for the new chapter everyday. I check LJ once I reach home from school everyday. I even told this to my friend!

At first, I thought this will end up in tragedy because of your notes :| I wasn't breathing all throughout this chapter! I think I couldn't bear it if they failed... but I was so happy that Arthur was brought back to life [yay Mint!] and when they got out of Yoshiwara together.

Every chapter is worth the wait. But I admit, I'm gonna miss this AU ;;;

I've only read a PWP oneshot before, but I've seen a few comics that were translated from pixiv. He's irresistible! (And I don't usually like men with long hair.) So mysterious and sexy...

I'm glad you've been enjoying it and that you liked the ending! I always knew it would have a happy ending, so I'm sorry if I caused you stress because you thought it would be sad! XDD I would never do that to them.

YES YES YES!!! I had a ton of scenarios playing in my head on what could happen, but I MUCH prefer your Disney version! It was so-! And they were-! And it was-! PRECIOUS BABIES!!!

I'd love to know what happened next. How'd they fair in America? They obviously couldn't marry, but did they get a house together, say out in the middle of nowhere with their own farm? ;)

That's so adorable how you wrap up every story with them living on a ranch.

Thank you very much!! I really enjoy doing research for fics. Even if I can't do that time period justice and I end up making up a lot of details, it's stll really fun for me to come across a random cultural/historical fact that will work so well with my story ( ... )

Thank you for such a great read! I loved it, and the historical information was super true (as far as I could see).
Would you mind if I used some of your research for my own project?
I loved the happy ending - I was so worried I was gonna cry when I read this, but it's a happy story, so all's okay!
Are you going to write a sequel? It'd be so cute!
Thank you, again, for a great read.

Sure, you can use it for your own project. I don't own the information, after all. It's mostly available on Wikipedia, though I did check other websites, too, before blithely throwing Wiki facts around.
I'm glad you were anti-tragedy for the ending, too. I was worried people would feel cheated, but I want them to be happy so Arthur gets to come back to life!
No, I won't write a sequel. They are free to live their own lives now, so I should leave them alone. BUT a sequel would be very interesting - so you can see what happened the first time they met/fall in love, and how Arthur died saving Alfred. But I probably won't do that... I have other stuff to write.
Thank you for readin/reviewing/enjoying the story!

Well, if you do change your mind about a sequel, just make sure to tell me, 'kay?
