Merry Christmas everyone!

It's been nearly a year since my last update. Just wanted to post a picture of my fun pumpkin that I carved yesterday. But, I can't figure out how. Ugh! It's been too long.

Life is good! I've been so busy lately - crazy busy. Putting together the new Board of Directors for the Animal Welfare Society, helping out with the children's choir at church, getting ready for Thanksgiving and to top it all off.....the neighbor just got a NEW PUPPY!!!! Anybody out there have connections at West Point? I'm seeking Football tickets for the Army vs. Air Force game on 11/7. I sorta dropped the ball. Wow - it's been a long time again since I posted. Last weekend was our first weekend at the Haunted Hayride. Man did we have fun. I was at the hayfield from 1pm until at least midnight on Friday. I have five little visitors at my place. They are 5 week old kittens and they'll stay with me until they are old enough to be adopted and we find homes for them. I'm sure they'll be adopted quickly. I don't know the full story, but they were born outside and I guess someone found them and notified our shelter. They are cuter than cute. Four ( Read more... )

Yippee - I'm off tomorrow AND Monday. Tomorrow I'm taking Mr. Nantucket's dog Timber for the morning. We'll take a nice walk and play in the park. Who knows what else we'll do - maybe visit my elderly friend Lilyan. It will be fun. As a follow up to my plans for happy hour last Friday.....I had 3 beers at Mr. Nantucket's while he got motivated to go out. I then had 2 dirty martinis out and NO dinner. I've just signed on to create a scary scene/venue at a local haunted hayride. It's their first year and it's all for charity. I need my LJ friends to fire away some ideas.
