We have a bill! Number 2009-- H 5432, adding the category "gender identity or expression" to RI's Gen Law chap 42-28 regarding the definition of a hate crime and the monitoring of hate crimes in RI. K and I are cat sitting for a while for some friends. We added 2 cats to our household. angel and moo moo. moo moo decided tonight that she was going to sit on my laptop to stop me from doing school work so she could get some attention...

grad school
I have officially started my first semester as a full time grad student. life is giong to keep me pretty busy for a while between the 5 classes and 16 hrs of field placement. my first 3 classes were pretty straight forward. in my "human behavior opression and diversity" class some guy stated that he was insulted becasue he is a social conservative ( Read more... ) -
gay camp!
I just got back from my three week stint at mountain meadow, the camp for kids of LGBTQ families and LGBTQ kids. It was unbelievable. I have so many stories that it is going to take me a while to write them all down. there was more excitement at this camp then I experienced in 2 whole summers at girlscout camp. there seemed to be a new crisis ( Read more... ) -
