Because when you read it's your mind, and imagination that takes over. That makes the story come to life. If you can't make a story come to life, you must be boring.

Exactly! And if it's the weekend you can add a couple cookies, or something. I love curling up and reading near a window if it's raining. So relaxing.

I'm guilty of adding cookies to it even if it isn't the weekend. Heh.
I love reading by the window when it's raining, well either that or walking around in the rain, both are relaxing in my mind.
