Okay one of many desk reference set issues with Shiki is that while he technically has the weakest senses among his peers bar the maids, his is also the wonkiest. What about if your character is human but some of the people sharing his soulspace ... aren't? At all?

CHARGE THEM RENT.

I mean. If they typically slip past other people who actively probe, they could slip past him--he's not a psychic in the traditional sense of the word (or he is and Nasu is JUST THAT FUNNY about raping definitions). I'd say he'd overlook it?

Well!

Ronan is entirely normal.

The Spear of Light is ... a god (I guess?) contained in a spear. Outside of time and space, dedicated to finding the darkness/entropy/evil/what-the-fuck-ever wherever it is and destroying it. It's very single-minded, only will allow one person to hold it without burning them and because everyone has entropy/darkness in them, it's very determined to fix everything. Right now. Even if it kills you. (In fact, it piercing someone is a one-hit kill) So, it's not malevolent, but it's really downright scary. I plan to essay on this one day.

The One's Champion/The Winged Defender/oh god I am not going to name them all is ... um ... really powerful? Omniscent? Power beyond all human comprehension?

I don't know how to answer these polls. :( I MEAN. Ronan+Spear+Defender= DOWNRIGHT TERRIFYING. But he's not a true combatant and ... orz.

That would probably open his eyes, yes. But more in the "...You're MORE special. :o" sense. At least you're not like the entity he fought with some six-hundred different personalities/beings inside him? Fun guy, great at parties, but a messy guest and sloppy eater. :(

Don't feel bad--it actually will take me time to properly dissect these as boy can my canon get vague about abilities when it wants to.

Hellboy...well um. Appearance-wise, is clearly not a human, and has some stuff like the Right Hand of Doom, the prophecy of the Ang un Rama, and such going for him. But he's a strictly a don't engage fellow campers/councilors unless challenged first thing.

And um, do humans who don't push down their power/magic count? I'm confused.

I never clarified! Oops. Okay the short of it is he's not sensing magic as much as he's reacting to inhuman parts of a person--someone with training/experience to suppress their demonic/unhuman side, or someone who had wards to hide those aspects. Magicians will go over his head all day, everyday. But someone who's secretly half-wolf will not escape his notice much to his chagrin.

Ahahah. Okay. Then the only other one who applies is Yuriev, who has been touched all over by U-DO, and it's changed him down to his soul. U-DO is definitely not human, being the apparent God of the XS-verse, so! Attacking him is a-okay, but unless he thinks you're interesting looking, he won't attack first.

AND NOW UPDATING MY RESPONSE sup Kuchiha has a gigantic demon dog in her. And. attacking tends to make her actually angry as opposed to the no nonsense attitude she has most of the time. And it makes the demon angry! So note that attacking tends to cause escalation.

Umeda is human and n/a.

Marluxia is a Nobody.

The Riku Replica is a darkness-filled replica of a human being, but probably won't ping him on the basis that he's indistinguishable from human.

Heat is human with "atma" -- he's got a demon soul and a demon form. Woohoo! So basically not human anymore yeah.

Hibari .... .... ...... .......is human right?
