I'm on a few committees for different organizations and events, and I went to one of them earlier this week. We were meeting to discuss where our little committee was going to put its efforts next and brainstorming ideas. Oh, I totally agree! Though sometimes I do say, "No problem," because people are thanking too much for something that was really a very small act, something that was part of my job. Perhaps I should say, "You're welcome," then, too.

I was thinking about this yesterday. I work with a teacher who, when handing out papers or bookmarks, expects kids to say, "Thank you," but I don't think I've ever heard her say, "You're welcome." So I always try to model this with the kids, that even with something small it's important to be polite.
