[Something is wrong when she wakes up. It takes her a moment to place it. Weird decor. Room clearly not on an asteroid. No horns. Not smelling anything other than an absurdly weak whiff of freshly laundered cloth. Hm...

Oh, right. Eyes. She kicks the stuffed honeybeast off her bizarre human bed right out the conveniently open window.]An abduction ( Read more... )

[On this fine morning, Slugger awakens to the sound of an unfamiliar voice coming from the bedroom next door to his. Suddenly wide awake, he crawls to the edge of his bed and stares toward the wall separating the two rooms. It's too muffled to hear what the voice is saying but it sounds different from that of the drone girl who normally occupied the room. Hm.

[As Edward passes by the room, he almost expects to hear the shrill chirping of the dreaded drone daughter. But today, he hears... an unfamiliar voice. He turns, glances into the bedroom.]

...you're new.

My name is Edward Nigma.

It seems as though fate has been cruel enough to place you in this household.

Fate, or a criminal! Getting to the bottom of this is on my to-do list.
