We wrapped up our training and orientation this week. Thursday we did our NBC training, which consisted of "learning" how to put on our issued gas masks and Haz-Mat suits. I don't think I realized what was happening until we were floating in the air. The only home I'd known for the past 19 years faded into the distance with each passing second. I just received my flight information and travel itinerary.
My flight leaves at 8:35 am on Monday.
I should arrive in Houston at 10:48.
The rest of the day is full of meetings and orientations... nothing too exciting.

I am going to be wrapping up my shopping today and tomorrow, hopefully not forgetting anything.
