I did read the FAQ once I realized I might be adopting a GC conure.
I do have some bird books, but not the ones you listed. I will get a few of them.
I always thought the pet insurance was a bit over-the-top, but now with three birds and a cat I am definitly going to look into it!!

I think I will be able to give her lots more space, toys, love and attention than she got at her previous home too. That is why the owner was selling her...
