- one enormous head of red lettuce
- one big head of broccoli
- one big head (stalk? bunch?) of celery
- five small (five or six inch) zucchini
- fourteen small red onions
...all for FIVE DOLLARS.

Cambridge/Boston visit was beyond wonderful, all flowers and sunshine and spring rain and love and seeing even more people than I thought I'd see, and good conversation and food and good wine and I could go on about it a good long time. Maybe later ( Read more... ) -

- A couple of sunny, warm days, and suddenly the city is in full flower! The crocuses and tulips have been making tentative overtures for a few weeks now, but today every street is a riot of pink magnolia, white and purple violets, dandelions and forsythia in their wildly improbable shades of yellow.
