Eve has been put down. The vet came to our home yesterday at around 5 and took her body away in a van to be cremated. This is my first experience with having to put a pet to sleep. It's hard.

Sort-of-unexpectedly, I found out five minutes ago that my dog Eve has a malignant tumor. Family meeting tonight. We will most likely have to put her down within the next two weeks, perhaps before this Friday. I am super extra bummed about this.

So I finally read the play that I said I would do for NEYT this May, and it is way cooler than I remembered.
