It's 2 AM, and I'm have a bioethics debate with Rebecca Kupferstein by MSN. Reading week's almost done. It will have been too short when it is over. I don't know where I'm living next year or for the summer for that matter. Let's wait and see what happens.

Today I leaned back on a guy's bed while sitting on the floor and talking to people. My hair stuck to his sheets.

7:01 AM.

Still up working. My lab report's due at 4 PM. I can do it.

Just finished a biology paper on cloning mammals and the technical problems with it. It turns out that there's a lot more involved in controlling the development of an organism than just the bare genes it comes equipped with. Worst fucking city.

A roommate left his room dirty for a week. He cleaned it and found a sandwich on the floor under a pile of junk. He removed the sandwich and found an entire thriving ant colony under his sandwich. They had eaten through the carpet and formed a sawdust anthill under the hollowed out sandwich. Never in my life have I seen such a thing.

I get a phone call from my father at 1 AM. He's in Guelph. My aunt's dog ran out in front of a car. The guy didn't even stop. The emergency vet clinic in Toronto didn't have the facilities to take care of the dog, so they're at the vet college. I walked over. The dog's on a ventilator. Her diaphragm is torn.
