Tiffany is never sure if she understands Leto sometimes . . .

Cindy kinda hates Camp--the place--right now. It's been a year and she's no closer to figuring this place out. And there's stuff going on at home--she needs to do something useful for the cause! The camp effects are annoying but not very important--except it outs her to certain people like Brianna and Machika. Relationships are weird! She has never stayed around for this long before and it is getting to her because she never has any lasting relationships. So her fuse is shortening and she wants to go on vacation. Her interactions with people are getting less fake because she is becoming increasing familiar with them--and she does not know if this is a good thing or not.

State of the Stefan--is he crazy yet? Also, are you on Plurk and can I add you?

I'm "captainkink" on plurk!

Oh god, Stefan. Sooo Stefan, normal, animal-blood Stefan struggles with living. He struggles because he has to. For him, every day is just a battle dealing with his guilt. It hurts him intensely. Now, Stefan is back on blood and killing people, but he hasn't turned off his emotions. Which means the only way for him to deal with his guilt is to ... drink more and more blood. You can see how that will be a problem in camp. So Stefan has no way of coping with his insanely huge guilt issues, therefore, he's just on and off the rebound, acting good, acting crazy, acting like he doesn't give a damn in the world. There's no way for him to keep himself coherently together (except maybe love, like his love for his brother and Elena is all that manages to keep him level), but in camp, it just isn't working out. So he relies on Klaus to make him out as the bad guy so that at least he can stick to it and not continually change his mind.

If you could, who would you make me app?

Guy's sister Isabella--just to make him even more miserable because that's something he can't make up for. And then when the second season of BBC's Sherlock comes along, someone can app Irene Adler for double the fun because they share the same actress.

MYCROFT, or the forever drunk but amazingly competent and hilarious history teacher/vampire slayer Alaric Saltzman. You would be a grown-up puppy who wants to drink instead of supervising kids who drink. He's a beautiful man who basically becomes best friends with Damon even if Damon kills off everyone he loves.

Barring that, Doctor Holiday, because she is a kick-ass woman who is emotionally competent and can shoot people in the face.

WHY ROBIN HOOD?

Reply

justwannahave December 6 2011, 08:14:34 UTC
Because it was between Robin Hood and this other canon that I had issues with. Basically, the other character is a favorite of mine, but I would not have felt comfortable playing him because of his issues. And I wanted a male character but I'm not smart or hyper enough to be Miles Vorkosigan either. It might have been Isabella if I was going for all three female characters.

State of the Rex in Camp?

bromantic December 6 2011, 08:20:59 UTC
Rex is in s very different environment, something I'm hoping I brought out in my play with him. In his world, everyone has the possibility to turn into a monster and forfeit their sanity, not everyone can be saved, and the world is generally against Rex in some way or the other.

So now he's in a place where things are just not fucked up, he can make friends without all the hangups that come with that and people genuinely like him! Not that it's entirely new to him, but enough to surprise him from time to time. Rex is having a ball with it, he gets to do whatever he wants, talk to people, not be worried about the horrifying consequences of him staying a long time in camp. He's not worried or stressed or bothered. In a way, he takes camp too lightheartedly ( ... )

- Fables is everything gets darker with fairytales.

- Once upon a time, ABC was going to make a Fables tv series. However, Bill Willingham said that the script read like it was written by people who had not read Fables. And then ABC made Once Upon A Time from the script that does not sound like Fables. So you are already watching a version of it. Which still cannot compare to how dark the original series is. See remarks to Thor's thread above.

- There are plots and twists all over the place and they even try to in corporate RL events in the storyline.

- The ensemble cast is fantastic.

- Everything's better with werewolves/princesses/talking animals/spoons.

Tell me why I should watch Generation Rex?

Quoting someone here:

"Generator Rex is located in the most nightmarish universe, with monsters lurking around any corner. But, the thing is, those monsters can appear at any time, out of nowhere. They can be anything and anybody. When the event happened, nanties infected everything on the planet. This means that, at any given moment, your family, your friends, your pets, and even your houseplants can mutate, and potentially kill you. To make matters worse, there’s only one cure in the entire world, and even if you somehow manage to get Rex to help you, there’s a chance he might not be able to cure them. Then your loved one is be stuck as a monster for the rest of their lives.

Can you imagine living in that kind of fear?"

Generator Rex is a cartoon about a teenager named Rex who has to save the world, who is the only one who can. It's worth noting that the show doesn't pretend that it's own premise is dark and gorey, it is very much in your face without being pretentious or overdoing it. There is a lot of world-building (who ( ... )

Uh, Tiffany already talks to Leto, Guy might keep bumping into Oz and Optimus . . . Cindy hasn't spoken to Sherlock or Stefan in a while, so there's that.

Do you have plans for your characters in Camp?

So how married are Optimus and Megatron right now?

Reply

swissarmycock December 8 2011, 13:14:15 UTC
Oh god.

Well, Orion looks up to Megatron. Megatron made him feel, gave him purpose, etc. As a result, there's nothing Orion wouldn't do for Megatron, save for one. Orion won't violate his own principles for Megatron, even if they're the ones Megatron taught him to begin with. He is very firm on this point. Therefore, he has a lot of feelings for Megatron and his purpose. But in camp, that's a little different. He's disoriented, he has no idea what happened to Cybertron. While he does believe what Megatron tells him, Megatron himself has become very different and Orion has been picking up on that. And he doesn't know what to do about it or how to fix the situation, so he's walking on tenderhooks until he feels he has a concrete idea of what's going on.

Basically, they're a married couple that's not discussing what's in the air.

If you could app into my canons, who would you go for?

justwannahave December 8 2011, 21:24:21 UTC
. . . But I only know one of your canons. So that would be someone from Sherlock.

What do you think my canons are about based on RP?

Emotionally stunted characters who are badass in certain regards! And not afraid of speaking their minds. ... I feel this applies more to Cindy and Tiffany than Guy, but yes.

Hmm. Favourite thing you've ever rped?

justwannahave December 9 2011, 14:30:57 UTC
Good summary--though Tiffany is not as bad as Cindy because she's aware of her issues at ther current age. Guy is sad and clueless.

Had a ball of a time in February/March doing alternate universe Cindy and stuck-in-ex-husband's-body-Cindy. Or Tiffany sticking her nose into Ankh's business. Fun times.

Your characters' favorite and least Camp effect?

bromantic December 10 2011, 11:38:00 UTC
My characters hate the effects in general when it's on them. Buuut they enjoy the deage one the most. I think that's... pretty universal yeah.

One thing you want to accomplish in RP someday.
