My uncle passed away early on Thursday morning. He was in a lot of pain, and it was just terrible... the whole family, while sad, is more relieved that he is no longer suffering. Its been so hard on Dad, and now he has to start preparing all the funeral stuff, and I know its really taking a toll on him ( Read more... )

Last night we had a meeting with the doctors, and they went through my uncles condition, and after being asked directly they told us he has at most months to live. Sooooo.... i was having a nice afternoon nap, when i got woken up by the phone... it was melissa wanting to know if i wanted to get out of the house for a while, so we ended up going to the movies to watch mean girls with amanda & nicole yesterday, even though i had already seen it. I have been working on something in photoshop over lastnight and today, and for once its someting i can feel proud of. While it may not be fantastic, or up to the level in which i desire to get to... it is a start in the right direction. After all it is my first real try at a digital painting.
