i did go to work this morning, but bossy dr. called and said we should close-up and go home . . . not like her. i was sending everyone home anyways, at least now i won't catch shit for it.

brit girl
the girl that i wrote about in this post started chatting with me on google talk. i was so glad because i hadn't heard from her since. she seems like fun, and she made me laugh. she thanked me for giving her a bit of advice, and said that she is feeling better. nice girl, really.

liz fell in the shower this morning . . . well more like, fell out of the shower because the entire curtain rod came down with her. she had to stay home from work because she is so sore. -
my bad spelling
yes, my spelling sucks. no, i don't have any shame.
on wordpress i have no problem with spelling because of the fantastic software. lj spellcheck is too labor intensive.
liz is compulsive. liz felt the need to edit my last post to fix the spelling.

the christmas dinner
tonight we had our office christmas dinner at j.gilbert's in glastonbury. mmmmmm, it was fantastic, i totally recommend. we had a room with a table for 10, nicely decorated, perfect size, the door was a big plus because the bar and restaurant were very noisy ( Read more... ) -

i received an email yesterday evening from a girl who's blog i read. she is 24 with cin3 borderline cervical cancer. i have to say, although i have never met her, i feel like she is just the type of person that socially-awkward me would totally want to be friends with in real life (as opposed to internet life). i really feel for her mostly ( Read more... )
