my boss wants to buy her husband a slide-rule for christmas off of ebay . . . but she doesn't know how to use ebay. the auction was in august and she wanted to buy it today! i had to tell her that the auction was over and she was confused! she asked me to help her find the slide-rule again. she was so cute. -
home from work
today i'm staying home from work . . . not because i am so sick i might die, but because i have been feeling sick for a few weeks and now i have developed a cough. i am taking a preemptive sick-day, resting now so i don't get worse. the receptionist was out for a few days with a bad cold, and i had to do her job and mine last week and the week ( Read more... ) -

thanksgiving soup
there have been a ton of hits on hip to code for my chicken soup recipe, so i thought i could post it here also with a few modifications for thanksgiving leftovers.
