Last week, Tommy came up to SF to visit and we ended up in the Mission at 2 am on Monday night. I sadly report the death of Aram during an attempt to ingest an enormous and quite spicy burrito.

One of my favorite weekends of the year... snowboarding at Kerry's in Tahoe. Usually, it's the last hurrah of the season, but now that I'm living 3 hours away from Kirkwood, it's the starting bang! Just got a cortisone shot in my shoulder following an MRI. Amazingly 7 months of pain has almost disappeared overnight after the shot. It was never a huge handicap, but it's nice to be able to reach for things above my head without gritting my teeth to anticipate the sting or moving in slow motion. Came into work this morning to find my old ratty CRT replaced by a slick 24 inch widescreen LCD. Very cool, but it runs at 1900x1200 resolution, which means most web pages are squished all the way to the left side of the screen with a sea of blank space to the right. Drag-and-drop multi-stop driving directions and a really nice "Browse by Category" feature that can give you a dartboard of all the Japanese restaurants or ATMS in the area. Plus APIs for developers to build new mashups. Better than Google, except for the lack of satellite
