I used to be so smug about my marriage.
I'd see couples airing their dirty laundry on Facebook, or posting sappy messages about how marriage is such hard work. I felt so superior because my marriage didn't feel like work! We got along so well, we hashed out our issues as they arose, we were a team.

Job update?
I left MacKenzie-Childs for the first time in 2017. I'd been unhappy there for years, and Andy got an amazing job offer...in Pennsylvania. The money was outrageous but the kids were still so little, and the stress got to me after a while. I've been posting privately again recently, but I wanted to make a public post simply so that letter from 2012 isn't the first thing I see every time I come here. :)
Since 2012, I've gotten married and had a couple of children, and a few job changes. Those didn't start until 2017, though. It's a long story.

It's been six years since the last time we spoke but I still think about you on a daily basis. It's not love, just the fact that you molded me in such a huge way that I know my life would have taken a completely different path if we'd never met. Anyway, happy 30th birthday. something changed on my internet browser...or livejournal changed something...in any case, i could no longer read my livejournal page because the background, which used to be semi-transparent, turned completely transparent. i tried to fix it, but couldn't. i ended up changing my whole layout, which i'd customized myself, to one that was pre-made ( Read more... ) -
