Wow, I haven't posted in 3 whole years. This time 3 years ago, my daughter Eleanor was 6 months old. Since then we've had another daughter, Maeve, who is now nearly 2.

PS - I've forgiven Chick-fil-A, although I never sent the letter.

In addition to work frustrations and idiots on the road that I want to slap, here's what happened at lunch. Dave goes to Chick-fil-a for us all and gets a bunch of orders. Well, I lost a bit over 10 lbs. Gained a couple back, but I'm still hovering around the -10 mark. I didn't see any mental or mood differences, but I don't get sleepy after meals (carb-coma). It's a bit difficult to find no-carb stuff to eat every day, especially eating out. Waffle House omelets are good though.

Well, I decided to see if Dr. Atkins is a quack or not. I don't need to lose all that much weight, but 15 lbs or so would be nice. I'm more interested in the hyperinsulinism problem that he discusses ( Read more... )
