It's been getting warmer here in Berkeley, and some of my friends/GSIs have been commenting that the weather must be reminding me of Singapore. But stepping out of Dwinelle into the cold, cold night yesterday also felt a lot like home. -

So, Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell promised a Veronica Mars movie if they raised $2m within 30 days on Kickstarter. They started yesterday and they've already got $2.1m. Seriously. Sometimes this fandom is so scary. Still, a Veronica Mars movie! Yay haha. -

Maybe I'm just getting old, but 2 five-page (political science) papers in 2 weeks is just too much for me. Well, I guess it's just me. Last semester I had a ten-page paper and a five-page paper due within 2 days of each other and everything went just fine. I even enjoyed writing both of them. So I've finally decided to get started on what I was supposed to do today/yesterday (my paper for my California politics class). We have to write a paper on a recent proposition that was on the ballot in California. So CNN is making a big deal out of the fact that Obama's inauguration this year is going to fall on Martin Luther King Jr day. And also that this year is the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. Haha. Well, I must admit that all this excites me a lot too.
