Sleepy
kitties. Sleepy kitties gave me an opportunity to take some
longer-exposure shots utilizing available ambient light. Here are some of
the better results.
(On a related note, if anyone wants to donate a nice macro lens to my
collection, I promise lots and lots of kitty closeups.)

I regret to inform you that it is simply a brand name; it has no membership
in the set of tasty things.

Omelettes make the world go 'round
Omelettes make the world go round. Or at the very least, they make me a
very happy moogle. Three cage-free eggs, a dash of spices, a large quantity
of diced mushrooms, a smaller quantity of diced tomatoes, and four different
kinds of cheese. Mmmm, bliss.

Sulpher has tea preferences
This evening I discovered that Sulpher likes Earl Grey. I have
previously discovered that she doesn't care for mint tea. I'll leave you
all to contemplate this combination of observations for now, and will let
you know if I discover any other black teas to her liking.

images of Sonyaaa's teeth. At some point I'll capture candids of
Sonyaaa's new patch of shaved fur. It's not too conspicuous, but it's still
a bit jarring to see on a cat with such beautiful fur.

Ingredients of my crackers
Ingredients of my Asiago, Rosemary and Pepper snack crackers:
- Whole grain wheat flour
- Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid)
- Sunflower oil and/or canola oil (contains ascorbic acid and rosemary extract)
- Feline fur (black)
- Sugar

Valeria's finished her medications!
Valeria has finally taken the last of her medications. I'm glad it is
finally over -- the nightly battles to get her to swallow paste were
becoming quite tedious for both of us. She seems to be in much better
health and is back to a normal diet. It's good to see her in better spirits
as well; maybe the diffuser is having a positive effect.

A candy shop in the mountains
The last few weeks we've found ourselves driving along Ortega Highway and
going by a candy shop along the pass. By sheer coincidence I've
accidentally steered Chocobo (the car) off the highway at exactly the
location of this candy shop. Luckily they have a spacious parking lot to
slow the car down in! What luck!
