This is the last weekend we have that's relatively quiet for a while, aside from my rugby banquet tonight (do you watch Real Housewives of NJ?  yeah, it's at the Brownstone).  The following two weekends we have guests and after that Laura is heading up to Pax East while I stay home sad and alone, playing Dragon Age nonstop weeping copiously.  ( Read more... )

Becky and Zack are very huggy, especially with each other.  This has led to a problem at school because Zack keeps hugging his classmates and since he's huge, he scares them.  So last night I was trying to explain to Becky that if she wants to hug her brother standing up that's fine, but while I'm not mad at them for piling on one another she needs ( Read more... )

The title is stolen from my wife and one of the foes in this weekend's Inspectres game.  We dropped off the kids and headed up to rural Connecticut for a weekend filled with friends, dogs, some gaming, and alcohol.  It was once again a remind of how much it sucks living far away from most of the OW people.  The game was a bit disjointed as it got ( Read more... )
