Rome anyone?

I've just booked to goto Rome with Ryan Air in March if anyone fancies it, otherwise I'm going on my tod... It's part of my NY resolution to spend more time in places more interesting than London!

I'm going try and experience some culture... Has anyone been? Any recommendations?

i've been. my suggestion is that you go alone, and see it without distraction - or if you take anyone with you at all, make it one. 3 days isn't long, and i think you'll need them concentrated ( ... )

Helps a lot, thanks! I'm pretty excited about going on my own - though my mum's worried for me! As you say, I think the majority of my time will be spent sightseeing anyway, so i'm going to be knackered!

How did you find Berlin? When do you want to go out for a drink?
