colossally lazy day
I slept in this morning after going to bed early last night. Took the dog for a walk, made breakfast, got ready for Mass and went. No drama today. As far as I know, I still work for Carol. A million different people from one day to the next
Some of what I felt I was being "tested" on has resolved itself in just a few days. Amazingly, all I had to do was talk to Kyle about it. I don't know why I didn't think to do that in the first place - maybe because so much of it was in my head. He was able to sort out quite a bit of it, in his way.

The power went out in Grapevine, TX today for some unknown reason. It happened at about 3pm. At 4pm, the powers that be determined that it would not come back on until 6pm and dismissed everyone from work because the A/C and water were turned off. Irritating
I was unpacking from my trip to Vegas yesterday and saw that I only had two pairs of jeans. I had packed three. I texted the girl I roomed with to ask if she had packed them in with her stuff (she left a day before I did.) I knew she had one shirt of mine that I had let her borrow, and I mentioned this. Last week o' school
Thank goodness it's my last week of class. This one has been brutal. Necessary, but boring. I have a paper and two discussion posts due before Friday.
Somehow, the last week of class always seems to coincide with a conference that makes it really hard to focus. This one is one of the biggest loss prevention conferences in the nation, and thankfully ( Read more... ) -

I have no excuses for such a prolonged absence from lj. School ended midway through March, and I emerged triumphant despite hours of lost sleep and a lot of conferences.
