That was the other thing I came across a lot - eBook textbooks - but in some cases they are still pretty expensive (with no resale value). I think it would make sense for some, I personally don't have an eReader.

So, are the Colloquia describing how you work on your dissertation or more on the hoops you jump through to start working on a dissertation?

I think it's a little of both. Each one has a theme. This first one has sixteen segments on "Professional Communication and Developing Research Skills." It's also a way to meet other Capella learners and network, because learning online can be very isolating.
