I'm really ready for Jeff to be completely out of my life. I just want him gone. While moving, I realized that he still has some of my CDs, which I don't really need, but I don't like that he has them. Mentioned this to my mom and she said, "Do not contact him. I will buy you new CDs." Not necessary, but I thought it was funny

Do you have any mutual friends that could say something? Or the message could go through?

I think you'll need to let it go...you don't want to reestablish contact, and it wouldn't be smart to let him know it bothers you (it could become something he could use to torment you - in an obviously worst case scenario).
