all four of my christmas trees are finally coming down. christmas 2009 is officially over with.

I feel like I am back in college because I have to write a self-evaluation and I just can't seem to write it. The words are just not coming to me. I have noticed that there are so many more distractions now than when I was in college. Before, I would kill time with solitaire, ICQ or AOL IM. i am listening to music (thans again Kbel for introducing me to the Von Bondies), baking cookies and drinkng wine.   life is currently good.

Aside -  the cork broke in half, but I was able to re-spike the cork and pull it out.    I was not going to let another bottle of wine get the better of me.  

i got the h1n1 shot yesterday.   so far so good. 

i fail. i totally and utterly fail at opening wine bottles.  i heart wine. i love wine.  i could drink wine every night and i wouldn't get sick of it. however, opening the freaking bottle? yeah. can't do that.  tonight, the cork broke in half and ended up getting sucked into the bottle.     i need to take a class on opening this shit. or perhaps ( Read more... )

starbucks seemed like such a good idea when i got off of work.  now, not so much.  it is now twenty after one and i am still awake. next time, i need to just say no.   

I absolutley love this book.   it takes the plot of original p&p but adds zombies, swords and snark. where the original was all prim and proper, this one allows for sarcasm and blood shed.  at one time elizabeth wants to behead one of her sisters because she was talking incessantly about utter nonsense.  charlotte becomes a zombie. mr. collins ( Read more... )

yes. i am petty and shallow and unamerican. but lost is supposed to be on in 3 minutes and the president is still speaking.  frankly, everything he has said, he could say elsewhere, in a non-national hour plus long Q&A.  Ohhhhhhh. He might have just finished.   bring on lost!
