I'm going to graduate school! Whee! In Germany! Whee! The university is called Jacobs University in Bremen and I'll be in the Intercultural Humanities MA program. I recently came back from the Sapporo Snow Festival waaaay up on the northernmost island of Japan called Hokkaido! The trip had its emotional ups and downs, but the visit itself was pretty awesome.  There was a flurry of updates from me over winter break from India, and promptly upon my return to Japan...nothing.  I didn't even tell you I got back OK.  What a jerk.  I have more reflections on my volunteer experience, perhaps some are more cynical than my first opinions, but those will come at a later date.
