Today is a milestone of sorts...

I celebrate my 40th today.

So.. I called the lawyer on Friday. I was told that a judge decision was made for my Social Security disability, but that the lawyer didn't know the yes or no. My paperwork is in some kind of decision writers' desk.

Here's hoping that I find out by .. hmmm summertime?

I think court went pretty well.

My lawyer said that I should be approved for benefits based on all of the testimony, but it's totally up to the judge.

Here's hoping.

I should know in about a month.

I cooked my first turkey dinner yesterday in our new place. We had mashed potatoes, sausage corn bread stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, cheesy brocoli and mom's creamy onions. Then we had STB's cheesecake and the pumpkin pie I made along with cool whip for dessert.

I received rave reviews. I'm a very happy girl right now.

Bleh. It's been another month since I posted.

I baked my first pumpkin pie today. I yelled, screamed, and tried to beat it to cook right. It topped me back. Soo much fun.

Time will tell if it tastes right tomorrow as I cook our first Thanksgiving meal in our new place. I'm nervously excited, but I know I can do it.
