O sweet jesus waxing HURTS! (sorry to any male readers) 2 hours of my day spent using homemade wax. Thank God a resolution was finally agreed upon and a ceasefire went into effect. We all know how Nasrallah has been claiming victory for Hezbollah but it isn't at all. It's just another stalemate politically and a loss for the country of Lebanon. So my mom has been asking me to sit and write down my impressions of my trip to Beirut: the AUB program, the kids, the war, the whole thing. So I started. I'll write impressions but I also want to write a day by day thing starting Wednesday the 12th, when Hezbollah captured the two Israeli soldiers, through Tuesday the 18th, when we got evacuated. KITTEN!!!! He's adorable! He gets really hyper, but all of a sudden he crawled into my lap, but he kept swatting at my other hand while I tried to pet him, then he fell asleep. awwww.
