Wonderfully satisfying ending, Betty. You addressed all the key issues, including possible future children, reuniting the family, the debilitating insomnia, Brian's fears and the Melanie situation.

I haven't awaited each new chapter of a story as I did with this one in a long time. The next time the LJers send around that meme about listing your top 10 favorite fics, this one will def be on mine. Thanks so much for sharing it.

I’m all teary eyed now, but so happy for them. “Thank you for bringing him home, Sunshine.” Thank you for giving us this story. You can really be proud of this one.

You've left me choked-up and tears on my cheeks, and an escaped sob...

This was a wonderful story. Angst-y Brian to this point is not written often, or at least, read by me, so I enjoyed the difference. Very good plot, and the imagery was always spot on. I can see that stupid tree, and wish somehow it was cut down, (but, we know that's not possible.)

Thanks for the very good story. And, “Thank you for bringing him home, Betty.”

Hugs ~ Cathy

I haven't even read the rest of the story but I can see that this is a beautiful ending. Brian's declaration of not wanting another child fits perfectly into his character and the situation. I look forward to reading the preceding chapters.

You read the epilogue before you read the story? Interesting. At least you don't get any nasty surprises that way. :-D

Thank you.

A fairy tale couldn't have had a more perfect ending. They will live happily ever after, in a distinctly Brian and Justin style. ;p

Thank you for another wonderful journey. Already looking forward to the next!
