I got my keys early, that was kinda cool... I'm about half moved in now =) will be done probably on Saturday... I'm gonna miss my dog like crazy =(

I'm moving out, August 1st... I'll post pics (pre and post flat packed couch =p) within a few days of it all =)

Oh and I guess I should add I got the permanent position at my work, and almost what I asked for $ wise =)

I really envy people who have good relationships with their siblings and families.

So, I'm still on the never ending job search, the temp agency has nothing, and my student loan is about to kick in at a good 200 a month, evilness especially when coupled with my car payment and being stuck in my parents house indefinitely =/  I guess on a good note/pointless victory, I got my diploma for my MA in the mail yesterday, yay for ( Read more... )

So, I finally finished making my first corset, its not as complicated as it looks, but I cant lazy my way through by skipping basting so it does take a lot of work... the pattern making though to make it custom totally takes a good amount of math and measuring =)

I'm really worried about my dog, she's been sick for a while, shes on heart meds and has had seizures.  But recently her balance seems to be off, like she is dizzy or something... her tummy is sick again, so I'm not sure if it's related to that or what... Liz and I are going to England for two weeks, in less than a week =p I'm gonna wipe out my savings but I'm still excited

I made my first pair of pajama pants, waffle knit fabric shrinks like hell, so I'm glad I washed them before cutting what had looked like 10 extra inches off the bottom hem because now they just hit the floor =p ( Read more... )
