You could have picked up a bug on some of your fresh produce. Wash everything really well and continue on, I'd say. Hope you're feeling better.

I would ease into it over the course of about a week? Detoxing is hard to do: your liver starts to process things through faster and the rest of your body isn't used to it. I always take four days to implement each step of a lifestyle change, and the LCD is the undertaking of at least a few months.

Tell you what: Start with the extra water and lemon juice the first four days, and halve your sugar intake in the second four days, then swap out eggs and fish for the meat. Remove dairy across the third week because that one can be a huge change for how the bacteria of some people's intestines operate. Bear in mind the more toxin load you're carrying, the more gentle you'll have to be with yourself to avoid nausea.

Even the LCD is written so that people feel the full weight of their toxin load in tiredness, but that's not really necessary. A slow change over a longer period will accomplish the same goal. I think you have some ink that means the same thing. ;)
