I work best under pressure

How is it that I can write a six page paper in four hours if I start at 6 am the morning it is due, but I can barely get out five pages after working all day on a fairly straight forward paper? I just don't understand the way my mind works. I know the fact that I write all my papers on the day they're due has become kind of a joke, but seriously, ( Read more... )

IT IS SO COLD IN THE LIBRARY! They really ought to provide coffee or blankets or something.

I DO THE SAME EXACT THING! I can't help it...and so many people here are like "i've never pulled an all-nighter in my life" and I'm all "but...every single paper! How could you do it??"

I heart my library overnight--it's all buzzing with fun and coffee and desperation. Lol.

I definitely work most efficiently under pressure. That last hour before a paper is due can certainly get me through several pages. However, I know that I work BEST when I give myself time. The quality of my work usually turns out better, if only because I have time to go back and seriously revise it. Pros and cons to both, I guess.

oh that's an image i miss. walking down the hall of pom 3 to brush my teeth and seeing you on the floor, wrapped in in your comforter writing a paper. you are such a hero.
