Last night I had a dream with dinosaurs.
And an adorable teleporting raptor. Every time he teleported, all the other dinosaurs went into an uproar. They were all jealous he could teleport.

I've decided I need to practice doing drawing-things more. I'm planning to do updated versions of old bookmarks to see where I'm at now so that I can set practice-goals. Under the cut, the old and new versions of the Mother of Dragons:

I have been doing more of it lately. I used to be the kid who would read 12 novels a week around school work, though this slowed down a lot in college and grad school. Took a break from knitting two shawls in four days for 3rdragon* to do some art. Or something. I have all of these bookmark-size pieces of fairly nice paper, you see. In various shades of off-white. And they make a nice surface for little intricate drawings with lots of lines, while not taking enough time that I get bored. So I took an hour or so to go ( Read more... ) -
