Lenkov should have consulted you before writing that episode. Because the way the season went up until then, it looked like Steve and Danny had totally ignored Kono. There was not one mention, not one, "Hey, Chin, how's Kono?" like there should have been.

Thanks for the story.

Wow, thank you for the compliment! I agree, it wouldn't have taken much for the writers to show that the rest of the team was worried about Kono. I think they wanted it to look like she was all alone to sell the "Kono might have gone bad!" story line, but. Well, I think most fans figured out that Kono was in her own version of The Departed, or at least suspected something was up.

Thanks for reading!

This is lovely -- thank you for writing it and sharing it! The guys not talking to Kono because she kept disappearing when they came around and not answering their calls makes so much more sense than them not bothering to try and contact her. Kono is right of course: Danny isn't being fair. But he is angry, because he was very worried and then you just wouldn't be fair. Danny would definitely need to rant!

To sum up: this scene rings so true of their characters and I will just chose to have it be part of canon in my head until it is down-right proven that Danny and Steve didn't try to stay in touch with Kono.

Wow, what great compliments, thank you! I'm glad it'll be in your head canon - it's totally in my own. They had to have tried, anything else just doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks for reading!
