We went out to dinner tonight. It was a nice dinner but it was hard for me to leave the house without Kael. Then again, its hard to be in the house without Kael too. I miss him so much.

I hurt so much.

I am gathering letters to Kael from friends and loved ones across the world, and during his memorial service wish to put them up on a board so his friends and loved ones locally can read them and in this way we can all share our parts of Kael and I thought it would be a really nice thing that he would like ( Read more... )

Kael passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon at 3:30pm. We had a couple of great days together, and he had an opportunity to say goodbye to his loved ones and for all of us to be together. Just an update. Kael's surgery went ok. He reacted to the anesthesia and had a lot of breathing problems for the first 24 hours but is doing okay. He is still in the PICU but will move to a normal floor sometime tonight and if he has no more breathing problems he will go home tomorrow afternoon or early evening.
