Long-Ass Rant

Jun 28, 2012 14:36

This is an entry that I am neither placing under a cut nor friends-locking. If I step on someone's toes, frankly, I don't give a fuck. This is my journal, and I'm going to fucking speak my mind. I will sometimes refrain from doing that in order to "keep the peace" and in order to keep from causing conflict, because I hate conflict. But you know ( Read more... )

*HUGS SO HARD*

People are all still people, no matter race, creed, color, or sexuality. We all have the same ability to be outlandish dick-faces.

That being said, FUCK THEM. and not in the fun way. If they need to lie to themselves and convince themselves that "bisexuals hurt me more than straight or gay" then that's their problem. And the internet is just a cesspool of awful opinions. You are in a loving relationship with a man that is totally chill with the fact that you both oogle girls together and he makes you happy and that's all that matters.

*nods* That is indeed true. *HUGS*

Yes. Jeremy accepts me just as I am--he isn't bothered by my orientation, and he doesn't question it either. We ogle hot girls together and it doesn't bother either of us. XDXDXD Our relationship is great like that.

Hi, my name is Maia and I want so much to hug you in person for saying EVERYTHING that I've become too tired to say because I've been shot down too many times. I love you so much for this. I'm telling you, us being fabulously bisexual is a good thing. I fall in love with the soul of a person, body parts be damned. They could have five nipples for all I care and it wouldn't matter. However, there are people who think we're the most confused of the bunch. Pfff. If anything, I'd say I'm more open-minded because I try everyday to see where both sides are coming from while each side is so anti-this and that. If I could like this a million times, I would. *huggles*

Hi, my name is Lindsey and I would welcome your hugs and probably squeeze you too tightly and make you want to never hug me again. XD <33333 I love you too, and I get what you are saying entirely. I fall in love with the person, and the genitalia don't mean squat to me when it comes to love. I'm really sick of people being anti-gay and anti-straight and anti-bisexual blah blah blah and it's just... it's ridiculous and hurtful and if people are going to continue to be blind about it, I do not and will not apologize for the toes I step on.

My mom and sis are hug machines, so I've had the life hugged out of me a bazillion times. XD Seriously, this post has made my day. I've come to a realization that it's not gay pride or straight pride or whatever-race pride we should be advocating, but EQUALITY PRIDE. And that means equality in every sense of the word, for women, for people with different sexual orientations, for every color of skin, etc. We make little progress by limiting our views to a certain type of pride. It's no wonder I don't agree with my uncles (who are hypocritical anyway).

In complete agreement with you! Your uncles are indeed hypocrites. They are insulting one of their own, and that sucks. <33333 They may be grown men, but they're certainly acting like children.

*hugs you tightly* ♥

"If two people (regardless of race or gender or whatever else you want to throw in there) can get married and be happy, it's a beautiful fucking thing, and nobody has any goddamned right to take that away from anyone!!!!!!!!!!!"

You tell 'em, honey!

Gay marriage and straight marriage is really not so different as many people think. Love is love, and that's all there is to it. There are nice straight people, there are mean straight people. There are nice gay people, and there are mean gay people. Same goes for bisexual, pansexual, trans, two-spirit, etc.

Ugh. I know what you mean about the internet. At times, the opinions that are being launched there without a second thought are just abysmal and quite stress inducing. You love who you want to love, girl. I just hope that others will throw labels, generalities, stereotypes, and closed-minded ideals out the window and do the same.

Love is love. Precisely! I wish people would get a life, become more mature, open their hearts and their minds. Any person should feel free to love whom they will without the fear of persecution or discrimination. Thank you for your kind words. *hugs tight*

I don't know if all those dots are because I made you speechless in a good way, anon, or if you're offended by what I said. I'm guessing it might be the latter because of the anonymous comment. Then again, what do I know?

If I offended you, in this case, I cannot apologize. The easiest thing to do would be to forget that you read it.

Or take it with you and learn something.

Is that you, Zhen? :P Or is it Kim? :P

I was actually wondering if it was Zhen, but since she doesn't say anything to me directly anymore (and hasn't since she stopped being my friend), I am not so sure.
